The board is thrilled to announce the promotion of Martha Foote to Executive Director and Lauren Engel to Operations Manager.
Martha joined the Collective over a year ago as our Education Director and was also a Collective parent for two years. She’s served as our acting Executive Director for the last 3 months and brings a wealth of experience to her new role. We are excited about the future of the Collective under her leadership.
Lauren has held the position of Office Manager for 4 years. Her years of hard work and institutional knowledge has made her an invaluable member of the administration team. Her promotion is well deserved and we are convinced that her expanded role will be a great fit.

We are presently seeking an Administrative Associate to support running the day to day operations. The Collective’s foundation has always been the work of the teachers. We value their consistent contribution and I would like to thank them for meeting such great challenges during this most recent transition. In Spring 2015 the Collective will follow the public school calendar and close during spring break. The staff has repeatedly made this request citing burnout, which affects the classroom climate and staff morale. We are hoping the advance notice will give families time to plan for the change.
