Dear Families,
Please join us at the Collective tomorrow (January 12) at 6:15 PM, for our informational meeting on early childhood education, public PreK, and what brain research tells us about the best ways for children to learn. Our presenters will be Beth Ferholt, professor of Early Childhood Education at Brooklyn College, and Abby Kerlin*, adjunct professor of early childhood education at Bank Street College, Teachers College, and Hunter. Beth and Abby are former parents at the Collective (parents of Bear graduates Judah and Merritt, respectively) and served on our Board of Directors.
We estimate the meeting will last about 1 hour, and babysitting (Mae and Carmen) is available for $10/child – just let me know if you need a spot.
