Dear Families,
Admissions season has begun for 2016-2017, which means we will need to know very soon our current families’ plans for next school year. Specifically, we will need to know whether families will return for the 2016-2017 school year AS WELL AS how many days (and which particular days) they will need. Once we have that information, the Board and I will begin preparing school contracts, which we hope to have ready by mid-January.
So, please start giving your plans for next year some thought. I will have a form ready for you when you return from vacation that we will then use to prepare the contracts.
Finally, we know that some of you may be debating whether to apply for public PreK for 2016-17. To help you with your decision-making, we are holding a meeting at 6:15 PM on the evening of Tuesday, January 12, about early childhood education and PreK, best practices, and brain research. Please save the date, and I will have more information about this meeting after vacation.
