Hi there. The March 29th gala at the Picnic House is just 8 weeks away and we’re looking forward to having a fun and fabulous night for a great cause! However, we are quickly approaching our Feb 10th auction deadline and we’ve only received paperwork for a handful of confirmed packages so far. I know many of you are working on donations (and we thank you!), but please remember to please return  all your forms as soon as possible so we can maximize auction promotion on our website.

And, if you aren’t sure how you might contribute to the auction, here are some ideas: 

Home/Vacation rentals

Broadway or other show tickets (BAM, Barclays Center, MSG etc)

Know any children’s book authors? Perhaps they could offer to name a character after someone’s son or daughter.

Know any book illustrators? A commissioned portrait or signed drawing would be great!

Anything related to children’s birthday parties (entertainment, venues, etc.)

In-home dinner party prepared by a Chef. Know a Sommelier? Maybe this becomes a dinner and wine pairing/tasting… 

Frequent a favorite restaurant? Maybe they’d donate appetizers and a few rounds of drinks for a “Happy Hour” package.

Celebrity signed merchandise, or a celeb meet-and-greet…

Photography sessions for a child or family

Packs of lessons/classes for students or adults

Set visits to any movies/TV productions

Know any book editors? Are YOU a book editor? Maybe offer to read someone’s manuscript…

A round of golf… or golf lessons?
