Dear Collective Families,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous support of the annual Collective Fundraising Gala and Auction. It was truly a spectacular evening – I hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time dancing, chatting, and enjoying the lovely festivities.
And what a financial success!! We raised $18,000+ (net) from ticket sales, the auction and raffle, and donations! With this money raised, we are able to award substantial financial assistance to several deserving families for next school year. This is incredibly meaningful as it allows the Collective to uphold its commitment to ALL diversity – a very special feature of our school.
Thank you so much to all who participated, through ticket sales, auction items donated and solicited, raffle ticket sales, monetary donations, volunteering, etc. And a very special thank you to Liz McDermon, Keri Fisher, and their gala and auction committees: Leni Niemegeers, Alex Freidus, Racquel Stewart, Tina Tung, Meredith Slopen, Jamie McLelland, and Karen Bornarth. We could not have pulled this off without all your help. Also, a huge thank you to Sean Marquand for donating his time and equipment to be our incredible DJ for the evening.
I also want to extend an enormous – and overdue – thank you to Lauren, who provided invaluable behind-the-scenes support with her financial spreadsheets and overall organization.
Finally, if you still have an outstanding payment to make for tickets or auction items, please get these to Lauren or me. And we are very happy to continue to accept donations – it’s never too late to support our financial assistance program!
