Plans for the annual auction and gala are underway, but we REALLY need some volunteers, especially for putting the auction together. The funds raised will be used for financial assistance to ensure the diversity of our community, so these jobs are VERY important. Specifically, we need:
1) An Auction Chair – the chair is responsible for setting up and working with an online auction tool. Our Gala Chair, Liz Grausam, will help get you started, so you’ll have guidance to set you on your way. (The auction chair will earn ALL Collective credit for the year.)
2) Auction Committee Members – these volunteers will help solicit auction items and support the chair in running the auction. (Each hour you work will earn you Collective credit.)
I can’t emphasize enough just how important these jobs are, so PLEASE consider taking on one of these roles. We can’t have a successful auction without our volunteers.
