Work teams start next Saturday and we have volunteers helping at the Fall Festival – so the big question is: how do I report my work credit hours to the credit keepers? Here’s what you need to know:
1) If you did NOT receive an email last week assigning you to a work team, it means you have a Collective job that automatically earns full (18 hours) work credit. You do not have to report hours as you are all set for the year.
2) If you DID receive an email last week assigning you to a work team, it means you must report your hours each time you work. When you work on a Saturday work shift, you record your hours by signing in and signing out that morning on the sign-in sheet provided by your work team leader. However, if you do any work outside your Saturday work shift (e.g., helping at an event, attending a committee meeting), you will report your hours by sending an email to email@example.com with the following info:
Date of Work
Work you did
# of hours
For example, if you work at the Fall Festival on Sunday, you will send an email like this afterwards: “Penny Lewis, 10/18/2015, helped at Fall Festival (ran the pumpkin decorating), 1 hour.”
