2s Program Overview
Little Stars
1 class of 10-11 children, 4 teachers.
*For children who have turned 2 by the start of the school year.
Our Little Stars 2s Program is warm and joyful, full of creative play and thoughtful care. With a uniquely low staff-to-child ratio, we ensure each Little Star develops trustful, nurturing relationships with the new grown-ups in their lives, helping them feel safe and secure to explore, play, and learn.
3s and 4s Overview
Rainbows and Bears 2 classes of 14-15 children, 4 teachers each.
*For children who are at least 3 by mid-October.
Engaging activities and close relationships are the hallmarks of our 3s/4s Program. Children use their imagination and burgeoning understandings of the world around them to play and create with myriad open-ended materials - blocks, paint, sand, water, art materials, and manipulatives.
Music
We are thrilled to have Oghenero (Oghie) Gbaje, an early childhood music teacher at NikosKids, bring his fun and enthusiasm into each of our classes every week. A talented guitarist and singer, he is well-versed in teaching young children.
Yoga
Jovan Clay, our longtime yoga teacher, describes her class as fostering creative expression, imagination, self-awareness, and respect for others. Children go through an adventure of poses, breath work, balancing, and group activities, and are even invited to make up their own poses.
2024-2025 Calendar
